The Chassidic Discovery Welcome Center is a nonprofit cultural educational institution dedicated to sharing the ideals of Chassidic Life with a universal audience to educate, inspire, and familiarize all people with cultural warmth and understanding!

Historical perspective
The Chassidic movement is distinguished by its enthusiasm for meditative prayer, joyous service of the Creator, and intellectual mystical insight. The Chassidic movement was founded in 1734 by the Baal Shem Tov, "Master of the Good Name". The Chassidic movement transformed European Jewry into a spiritual oasis in a relatively short period of time. In fact, over 60% of European Jewry became adherents to Chassidic ideals by the beginning of the second World War.
